Role: SWIFT Administrator (U3)

Location: Cairo, Egypt

Employment Type: Full Time Permanent


Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced SWIFT Administrator (U3) to manage and support SWIFT infrastructure and financial messaging platforms, ensuring system availability, security, compliance, and operational efficiency within a banking environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain SWIFT Alliance Access (SAA), SWIFT Alliance Gateway (SAG), and SWIFTNet services.
  • Monitor platform performance, message flows, and system availability.
  • Manage SWIFT certificates, RMA authorizations, and security configurations.
  • Implement SWIFT Customer Security Programme (CSP) controls and support audits.
  • Perform system upgrades, patches, migrations, and disaster recovery testing.
  • Troubleshoot incidents, support root cause analysis, and ensure SLA adherence.
  • Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and compliance reports.
  • Collaborate with global stakeholders, infrastructure teams, and vendors.


Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
  • 4–7 years of experience in SWIFT administration, financial messaging, banking technology, or production support.
  • Hands-on experience with SAA, SAG, SWIFTNet, RMA Management, and PKI/Certificate Management.
  • Knowledge of MT and ISO 20022 messaging standards.
  • Experience with Windows/Linux servers, networking, security protocols, and middleware.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow, ITIL processes, monitoring tools, and disaster recovery.
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
