Company Description Cave is a training platform that intelligently plans and adjusts workouts to keep individuals progressing over time. It builds weekly schedules around each person’s activities, availability, equipment, and preferences, covering everything from lifting and running to team sports and swimming. When life events, injuries, or travel disrupt plans, Cave recalibrates the training load to maintain balance and support sustainable progress. The product acts like a responsive coach, remembering user details, checking in when sessions are missed, and applying established training principles such as progressive overload and planned recovery. Cave is currently in beta on iPhone, with interested users joining the waitlist at getcave.app.

Role Description The iOS Developer will design, build, and maintain Cave’s iPhone application, focusing on a smooth, reliable, and engaging training experience for users. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing new features, refining existing functionality, fixing bugs, and collaborating closely with product and design to translate training workflows into intuitive interfaces. The role involves integrating with back-end services, ensuring app performance and security, writing clean and testable code, and participating in code reviews. The iOS Developer will also help improve development processes, contribute to technical decisions, and iterate quickly based on user feedback in a fast-moving beta environment. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Cave.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in iOS Development and strong experience building iOS applications.
• Experience in AI development and FI FinOps.
• Hands-on background in Mobile Application Development and working with Mobile Applications at scale.
• Solid Software Development skills, including object-oriented programming, version control, and testing.
• Experience with Swift, Xcode, and common iOS frameworks and tools.
• Understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and ability to collaborate effectively with design and product teams.
• Ability to troubleshoot performance, reliability, and security issues in a production iOS app.
• Comfort working on-site in a collaborative environment and communicating clearly with cross-functional partners.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Interest in fitness, sports, or training technology is a plus.
