Role Description The Medical Assistant will work on-site at Tanta University Educational Hospital’s facility in Cairo in a part-time capacity, supporting clinical staff in delivering efficient and compassionate patient care. Day-to-day tasks include welcoming patients, preparing them for examinations, recording vital signs, and assisting with basic clinical procedures under supervision. The role also involves maintaining accurate medical records, updating patient information, and supporting the organization of the medical office, including scheduling and documentation. The Medical Assistant will coordinate with physicians, nurses, and administrative staff to ensure smooth clinic operations and timely patient flow. The position requires adherence to hospital policies, infection control standards, and confidentiality regulations.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated proficiency in Medical Assisting, including basic clinical procedures and patient support.
• Strong understanding of Medical Terminology to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and document accurately.
• Experience in a Medical Office environment, including appointment coordination and administrative tasks.
• Ability to provide safe, respectful Patient Care, including taking vital signs and assisting with examinations.
• Skills in handling Medical Records, with attention to accuracy, confidentiality, and regulatory compliance.
• Relevant diploma or certificate in medical assisting or a related healthcare field.
• Knowledge of infection control, safety protocols, and basic clinical equipment use.
• Effective communication skills, reliability, and ability to work collaboratively in a diverse healthcare team.
• Prior experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred but not required.
