Job Purpose: Supervise site equipment and daily civil construction activities, ensuring tasks are performed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with project specifications, quality standards, and timelines. Responsible for coordinating site logistics. Key Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Supervise and lead a team of skilled and unskilled workers in maintenance and installation work. 2. Distribute tasks and ensure they are executed according to requirements and approved instructions. 3. Monitor workflow and provide daily reports to the Senior Engineer. 4. Ensure all work is executed in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to safety standards and site rules. 5. Read and interpret basic equipment layouts to guide team members. 6. Inspect work to ensure it meets quality standards and technical specifications. 7. Ensure required materials and tools are available on-site in a timely manner. 8. Ensure the proper use, handling, and maintenance of tools and equipment. 9. Address any labor-related issues or delays, and escalate unresolved problems to the appropriate authorities. 10. Maintain discipline and productivity among workers. 11. Assist in site preparation, layout, and basic planning tasks. 12. Participate in safety meetings and ensure workers are familiar with site safety protocols. 13. Perform any additional tasks that may be necessary to facilitate workflow, within the main framework of the job specialization.
