Role Description The Merchandiser – Textile Background will manage day-to-day merchandising activities for textile products, ensuring alignment with SEKEM’s quality, sustainability, and brand standards. Responsibilities include coordinating between production, sales, and marketing teams to plan assortments, monitor stock levels, and track order progress. The role involves analyzing market trends, customer demand, and sales performance to optimize product mix, pricing, and display strategies. The Merchandiser will also collaborate with retail and wholesale partners, prepare product presentations, and support promotional campaigns for textile lines. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Az Zaqāzīq.
Qualifications

• Strong Communication skills to coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, and customers.
• Customer Service skills to understand client needs and maintain long-term partnerships.
• Sales and Retail experience to manage assortments, support store operations, and drive product performance.
• Marketing knowledge to contribute to product positioning, promotions, and brand visibility for textile lines.
• Background in textiles, merchandising, or fashion, with understanding of fabrics, production processes, and quality standards.
• Analytical skills to interpret sales data, market trends, and inventory reports, and make data-driven decisions.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and follow-through.
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic merchandising or ERP systems; experience with inventory management tools is an advantage.
• Relevant diploma or degree in textiles, fashion merchandising, business, or a related field is preferred.
