Job Summary

A proactive and skilled Scrum Master responsible for facilitating Agile delivery, fostering team collaboration, and ensuring successful execution of projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Scrum practices, Agile methodologies, stakeholder coordination, and Agile toolsets.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies: Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Coach team members on Agile principles and Scrum best practices.
• Remove impediments and help the team maintain delivery momentum.
• Collaborate with Product Owners to ensure backlog readiness and prioritization.
• Track sprint progress, team velocity, and delivery metrics.
• Promote continuous improvement through effective retrospectives and action plans.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to manage dependencies and risks.
• Support release planning and sprint execution activities.
• Maintain Agile dashboards and reports using tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Ensure adherence to Agile processes and organizational standards.

Required Skills

• 4–7 years of overall IT experience.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Scrum Master.
• Strong understanding of Scrum, Kanban, and Agile principles.
• Hands-on experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, Rally, or similar Agile tools.
• Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and managing stakeholder communications.
• Good understanding of SDLC and software development processes.
• Ability to identify risks, dependencies, and blockers proactively.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with multiple Agile teams.
• Exposure to SAFe or other scaled Agile frameworks.
• Understanding of DevOps and CI/CD concepts.
• Experience in Agile transformation or process improvement initiatives.
• Familiarity with cloud-based development projects.

Certifications (Preferred)

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
• Professional Scrum Master (PSM I/II)
• SAFe Scrum Master (SSM)
• PMI-ACP

Education
