Role Description The Emergency Doctor role at Care Medical Assistance is a full-time, on-site position based in New Cairo within a CARE CLINIC emergency facility. The Emergency Doctor will provide immediate assessment, stabilization, and treatment for patients presenting with acute illnesses and injuries, ensuring timely and evidence-based interventions. Responsibilities include performing physical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, initiating critical care procedures, and coordinating with ambulance and emergency services for patient transfers when needed. The role involves close collaboration with nursing staff, paramedics, and specialist physicians to deliver comprehensive urgent and emergency care, while maintaining accurate medical records and adhering to clinical protocols and safety standards. The Emergency Doctor will also participate in on-call rotations, contribute to quality improvement initiatives, and support patient and family education regarding treatment plans and follow-up care.
Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Medicine with demonstrated clinical competence in patient assessment and diagnosis.
• Experience in Emergency Services and Urgent Care, including triage, rapid intervention, and coordination with ambulance teams.
• Advanced skills in Emergency Medicine for managing acute medical and surgical conditions in a fast-paced setting.
• Proficiency in Critical Care Medicine, including stabilization of critically ill patients and use of life-support measures.
• Valid medical degree (MBBCh or equivalent) and current license to practice from relevant Egyptian authorities.
• Postgraduate training or board certification in Emergency Medicine or Critical Care is highly preferred.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure, make sound clinical decisions, and prioritize multiple urgent cases.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a commitment to patient safety, ethics, and continuous learning.
• Fluency in Arabic and working proficiency in English for documentation and communication are beneficial.
