Project Overview

You will join a fast-growing engineering team developing innovative microelectronics-based solutions for the automotive industry. Our components support critical vehicle functions, including communication, measurement, regulation, and control across safety, comfort, powertrain, and network systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, manage, and maintain software requirements for embedded systems in accordance with Automotive SPICE (ASPICE), with a primary focus on the SWE.1 process.
• Lead and coordinate requirements analysis, supporting software architecture definition and hardware/software partitioning during product design.
• Establish and maintain bidirectional requirements traceability, covering the complete lifecycle: Customer Requirements → Software Requirements → Architecture → Test Cases.
• Manage requirements traceability using Polarion, including the creation and ownership of the Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM).
• Prepare and maintain ASPICE SWE.1 process documentation and evidence packages.
• Manage change requests, including impact analysis, version control, baseline management, and alignment with customers.
• Collaborate with functional safety engineers to classify requirements using ASIL attributes and ensure compliance with ISO 26262 Part 6.
• Act as the primary point of contact between customers and development teams for all requirements-related activities.
• Organize and lead requirements review workshops and formal inspections with internal stakeholders and customers.
• Support product-oriented development and documentation of embedded software requirements.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or an equivalent qualification.
• Several years of experience in embedded software and/or system development, preferably within the automotive industry.
• Proficiency in Polarion or a comparable requirements management tool.
• Hands-on experience with Automotive SPICE methodology, particularly SWE.1 (Software Requirements Analysis).
• Strong understanding of embedded software development principles.
• Knowledge of Embedded C programming, preferably within ARM Cortex-M environments.
• Experience with requirements engineering traceability management, documentation, and change management.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of functional safety according to ISO 26262, including ASIL classification and safety work products.
• Familiarity with automotive cybersecurity standards, particularly ISO/SAE 21434.
• Experience with engineering and collaboration tools, such as:
• Gitea
• Enterprise Architect
• Tessy
• Helix QAC
• Knowledge of automotive communication protocols, particularly Ethernet, CAN, and CAN-FD.
• Familiarity with AUTOSAR Classic architecture concepts, including Software Components (SWCs), port interfaces, and Basic Software (BSW) modules.
• Understanding of electronic circuits and hardware/software partitioning.
• Experience with Ethernet MAC/PHY driver requirements for automotive-grade microcontrollers.
