Position Overview We are looking for Hardware Engineers to join our HAV Solutions team in Cairo, Egypt. Main Responsibilities: Understand and work with memory protocol standards, such as JEDEC. Design, implement, and debug memory SoftModels for simulation, emulation, and prototyping environments. Perform debugging of simulation- and emulation-based verification flows. Test the VirtuaLAB solution portfolio as part of each quarterly release. Monitor and analyze test results, prepare test summaries across different configurations and platforms, and perform benchmarking activities. Required Skills, Knowledge, and Experience: B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Computer Engineering or Electronics Engineering. Solid experience with Verilog and/or SystemVerilog. Knowledge of digital hardware design and FPGA design flows. Relevant professional experience. Familiarity with memory protocols and standards. Good knowledge of scripting languages, such as Shell, Perl, Python, and Tcl/Tk. Familiarity with Siemens DISW tools, particularly simulation, synthesis, or functional verification flows, is an advantage. Previous experience with prototyping or emulation is preferred. Ability to work remotely and collaborate effectively with distributed teams. Proactive mindset and willingness to take a hands-on role throughout the development lifecycle, from initial specification to deployment support. Strong communication skills, including the ability to present ideas clearly and share knowledge with others. Why Join Us? Compensation & Benefits The salary range for this position is USD 17,700 to USD 35,400 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate's job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
