Job Purpose: Operating, programming, and monitoring CNC wood router machines with high precision and efficiency to convert engineering designs into models that meet the required specifications, while ensuring adherence to quality and occupational safety standards and minimizing waste of raw materials. Main Tasks and Responsibilities: Machine Setup and Operation: Preparing and setting up the CNC router machine for operation, including installing appropriate cutting tools and securely fastening materials to the machine bed. Inputting and Processing Programs: Receiving, reviewing, and inputting design files (CAD/CAM) into the machine control system, and accurately setting coordinates and zero points. Executing Operations: Operating the machine to monitor drilling, milling, cutting, and shaping processes for wood and various manufacturing materials according to production drawings. Quality Control and Inspection: Inspecting produced products dimensionally and visually using appropriate measuring tools to ensure they match the dimensions and specifications defined in the production order. Preventive and Daily Maintenance: Performing daily maintenance on the machine (such as cleaning, removing sawdust, and lubricating moving parts) and immediately reporting any technical malfunctions to maintenance. Material Management: Handling wood panels and raw materials carefully to maximize utilization and minimize scrap. Occupational Safety Standards: Strict adherence to occupational safety and health rules and precautions within the manufacturing workshop, such as wearing safety goggles and ear protection and maintaining a clean work area. Job Requirements and Skills: Education: Intermediate qualification or technical diploma (industrial), preferably specializing in woodworking, mechanics, or equivalent. Experience: Practical experience of at least (2 to 3 years) in operating and programming CNC wood router machines. Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and executive designs. Proficiency in using CAD/CAM software and digital control systems. Mastery in using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.). Personal Skills: Extreme accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to solve emergency problems during operation. Ability to work within a team and commit to production delivery deadlines.
