1Electrical Control CircuitsUnderstanding and wiring control, start, and stop circuits2ContactorsWiring power and control circuits and troubleshooting faults3OverloadSetting protection and inspecting causes of tripping4Relays and TimersWiring and setting operation and delay times5SensorsHandling PNP, NPN, Photoelectric, and Proximity sensors6VFD InvertersConfiguring basic settings and diagnosing faults7Soft StartersOperation, basic settings, and diagnosing tripping8PLCUnderstanding input and output (I/O) signals and basic fault diagnosis9Measuring InstrumentsUsing the Avometer and Clamp Meter10Electric MotorsChecking motor windings and measuring insulation and current11Safety CircuitsUnderstanding emergency circuits, protection means, and interlocking12Reading DiagramsReading Control Diagrams and Power DiagramsDuties and Responsibilities:Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for electrical control circuits.Inspect and repair contactor, relay, timer, and overload circuits.Inspect and maintain sensors, measuring, and control devices.Diagnose electrical faults in production lines and identify causes of downtime.Inspect inverters and soft starters and assist in configuring their settings.Monitor input and output signals of PLC units and diagnose basic faults.Read electrical schematics and implement approved modifications to control circuits.Use electrical measuring instruments correctly and safely.Adhere to occupational safety procedures and isolate power sources before performing maintenance.Record faults, repairs, and spare parts used in maintenance logs.Collaborate with maintenance and production engineers to minimize equipment downtime.Report recurring faults and technical risks that affect equipment safety or production continuity.Required Qualifications:Industrial technical diploma in electricity or an appropriate technical qualification.Practical experience from 5 to 10 years in industrial control maintenance.Ability to read electrical diagrams and diagnose faults.Practical knowledge of sensors, contactors, relays, and inverters.Basic knowledge of PLC systems and their inputs and outputs.Commitment to occupational safety and working within a maintenance team.
