About the job IT Specialist Job SummaryWe are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented IT Specialist to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to employees, maintaining IT systems and equipment, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of the company's IT infrastructure.

The candidate should have good problem-solving skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to handle technical issues efficiently while providing a positive support experience to employees.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support to employees, both remotely and on-site.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain computers, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
• Manage user accounts, access permissions, and email configurations.
• Support Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Monitor and maintain network devices, including routers, switches, and access points.
• Perform regular system updates, software installations, and basic maintenance.
• Assist with data backup, system security, and antivirus management.
• Maintain IT inventory and ensure all company devices are properly documented.
• Track and follow up on technical support requests to ensure timely resolution.
• Coordinate with other IT team members to resolve technical issues and improve IT operations.
• Ensure employees follow IT policies and security procedures.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in IT Support, IT Administration, or a similar role.
• Good knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Basic understanding of computer hardware, software installation, and troubleshooting.
• Good understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN).
• Familiarity with Active Directory and user account management is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of IT security, antivirus solutions, and data backup procedures.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to support non-technical users.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple support requests.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft 365 administration.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems and IT service management tools.
• Basic knowledge of virtualization and cloud-based services.
• Relevant IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications are an advantage.
