Role overview

The successful candidate will work independently to deliver quality work products, perform complex duties requiring independent judgment, and implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs. They will apply Oracle methodologies, company procedures, and leading practices. Experience acting as a project team lead will be considered an advantage.

The candidate should be able to communicate effectively with C-level executives and customer management, and demonstrate expertise in delivering functional and technical solutions for moderately complex customer engagements. The ideal candidate will have four to five years of relevant experience, including two years of consulting experience, and a university degree. The ability to build rapport with team members and clients is essential. Travel across the Middle East and Africa (MEA) may be required.

The initial engagement will be through a contractor relationship with Oracle Consulting. Depending on performance, delivery quality, ability to travel, and suitability for the role, there may be an opportunity to transition to Oracle employment.

The role

Join the growing Oracle Consulting MEA Delivery team as a Senior Principal or Principal Supply Chain (SC) Consultant, or as an SC Workstream Lead, depending on your experience. You will implement Oracle Fusion SC solutions for customers across the MEA region.

• Work with the project manager and solution architect to plan the SC implementation workstream.
• Analyze customer business requirements and define solution parameters and specifications.
• Map requirements to Oracle Fusion capabilities.
• Conduct formal client workshops to agree on the solution design and define customer needs in the context of their business environment.
• Work with offshore and/or local teams to configure the solution.
• Support business comparison test plans and activities.
• Assess the business and technical impacts of solutions.
• Perform software version control and maintain a periodic compilation schedule.
• Transfer knowledge to the customer.
• Ensure project delivery is on time, meets quality standards and contractual requirements, and achieves customer satisfaction.
• Manage workstream deliverables.
• Take responsibility for data migration and cutover activities within the workstream.
• Resolve issues after go-live and support the transition to ongoing support.
• Assist the technical team by providing business clarifications required for technical development.

What you’ll bring

• A university degree in a relevant field.
• Professional SC consulting experience as a practitioner, implementation consultant, or lead.
• Proven experience implementing at least three Oracle Fusion SC modules.
• Understanding of SC business processes, including core engine processes, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Saudi Arabia (KSA), and typical integrations.
• Strong ability to understand, articulate, and address business issues, drivers, and needs.
• Ability to plan and facilitate design sessions and conceptualize solutions of significant scope across multiple business processes.
• Very good presentation and communication skills.
