A company specializing in the trade of food products and nuts announces its need for an Import and International Procurement Specialist to join the team and participate in managing and developing import operations from China and foreign markets. Job duties and responsibilities: * Researching factories and nut suppliers in China and communicating with them. * Exploring new suppliers and obtaining the best price quotes. * Negotiating with suppliers regarding prices, quantities, and contract terms. * Following up on purchase orders, samples, and product quality. * Importing various types of nuts and following up on the details of items and quantities. * Following up on sea shipments from China until they arrive in Egypt. * Reviewing commercial invoices, shipping documents, and certificates of origin. * Coordinating with shipping companies and customs brokers. * Following up on inspection procedures, customs clearance, and food import requirements. * Preparing final import cost accounts and comparing supplier offers. Required conditions and qualifications: * Proficiency in English, especially business correspondence. * Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel and Word. * Knowledge of import and customs clearance procedures. * Strong communication and negotiation skills. * Ability to research, analyze prices, and compare offers. * Accuracy, organization, and ability to handle work pressure. * Previous experience in importing food products or dealing with Chinese suppliers is preferred.
