Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and implement HSE policies, procedures, and programs in accordance with local regulations and international standards.
2. Ensure compliance with occupational health, safety, and environmental laws and regulatory requirements.
3. Conduct regular workplace inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement preventive measures.
4. Monitor manufacturing operations to ensure compliance with safety standards and safe working practices.
5. Investigate workplace accidents, incidents, and near misses, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
6. Develop and implement emergency response plans, evacuation procedures, and fire safety programs.
7. Ensure the availability, proper use, and maintenance of personal protective equipment (PPE).
8. Conduct HSE training, awareness sessions, and safety inductions for employees and contractors.
9. Monitor environmental aspects, including waste management, emissions, water consumption, and hazardous materials handling.
10. Ensure proper implementation of fire prevention systems and emergency preparedness procedures.
11. Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, and other departments to ensure safe working conditions and compliance with HSE requirements.
12. Monitor HSE performance through regular inspections, audits, and performance reports.
13. Lead internal HSE audits and coordinate external inspections and regulatory visits.
14. Develop corrective and preventive action plans and follow up on their implementation.
15. Manage and supervise the HSE team and ensure effective execution of safety programs.
16. Promote a strong safety culture and continuous improvement across all company operations.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Environmental Studies, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent are preferred.
• Minimum 7–10 years of experience in Health, Safety, and Environment, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
• Previous experience in an HSE managerial or supervisory position.
• Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and environmental legislation.
• Good understanding of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.
• Experience in risk assessment, incident investigation, and emergency management.
• Knowledge of fire safety systems, hazardous materials, and industrial safety requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HSE reporting systems.
