We are looking for an experienced Purchasing Specialist with solid hands-on experience in the garment manufacturing industry, preferably with strong experience in Denim production materials and accessories.

Key Responsibilities :

• Source and identify reliable local suppliers for garment and denim production materials and accessories.

• Communicate and negotiate with suppliers to obtain competitive prices, quality, and delivery terms.

• Purchase and follow up on production materials and accessories such as fabrics, threads, zippers, snaps, buttons, labels, packaging materials, and other garment-related items.

• Request, compare, and evaluate supplier quotations.

• Follow up on purchase orders from order placement until delivery to the factory.

• Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, and Management teams to determine material requirements and quantities.

• Monitor delivery schedules and ensure that purchased materials meet the required specifications and quality standards.

• Develop and maintain a reliable supplier database in Egypt.

• Search for new suppliers and evaluate their capabilities, prices, quality, and reliability.

• Handle purchasing-related issues, delays, and supplier problems and ensure timely solutions.

• Maintain accurate purchasing records and follow up on outstanding orders.

Requirements

• Proven work experience in Purchasing within the Garment / Textile Manufacturing industry.

• Hands-on experience in purchasing Denim/Garment production materials and accessories is a must.

• Good knowledge of the Egyptian market and local garment/textile suppliers.

• Strong negotiation and communication skills.

• Ability to source and develop new suppliers.

• Good organizational and follow-up skills with the ability to manage multiple suppliers and orders simultaneously.

• Good computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel.

• Ability to work closely with Production, Warehouse, and Management teams.

• We are looking for a practical and hands-on purchasing professional who has real knowledge of garment and denim production requirements and supplier networks, rather than general purchasing or administrative experience only.
