Reporting to the Food and Beverage Director, the responsibilities and essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to:

To consistently offer a professional, friendly, and engaging service

Ensure the coordination of all logistical details of the events, including table layout, decoration, audiovisual equipment, etc.

Leading the banquet team in all areas and ensuring that service standards are met.

Manage customer problems and requests and react quickly and professionally

Participate in departmental meetings at regular intervals

To have a thorough understanding of all job descriptions

Manage the banquet budget by controlling the costs of food, drinks and staff

Ensure profitability by maximizing sales of beverages and accessories.

Adhere to restaurant policies, procedures and standards

Working closely with the Kitchen and Convenience teams to ensure that all banquet/meeting requirements are met.

Respect all hygiene and safety policies when handling food and beverages

to be able to handle unforeseen situations, such as last-minute changes in customer demands or operational problems.

Other tasks, such as those assigned.

Desired Candidate Profile

Prior experience using a point-of-sale (POS) system

Ability to use Microsoft Windows applications

A university degree in a related discipline is preferred.

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills

Particularly responsible and reliable

Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Ability to work in a team

Ability to focus attention on customer needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
