Main tasks:

Reporting to the General Management, your main responsibilities will be to:

Define, manage and oversee the market activities strategy;

Supervise all trading floor activities: treasury, foreign exchange, money markets, interest rates and financial instruments;

Manage and optimize market positions, exposures and risks while respecting defined limits and regulatory requirements;

Ensure daily monitoring of positions, exposures, liquidity and key risk and performance indicators;

Define and implement hedging strategies, particularly regarding foreign exchange, interest rate and, where appropriate, commodity risks;

Supervise spot foreign exchange, forward and other hedging instruments and/or derivative products;

Managing cash flow and liquidity: investments, short and medium term financing and resource optimization;

Analyze financial markets, macroeconomic developments and factors likely to impact the company's positions and risks;

Identify market opportunities and formulate recommendations to the General Management regarding financing, investment, hedging and risk management;

Define and monitor position and exposure limits, in coordination with the Risk, Finance, Compliance and Internal Control functions;

Ensure compliance with procedures, risk policies and regulatory requirements applicable to market activities;

Participate in the treasury, ALM, investment and risk management committees;

To supervise, develop and upskill the teams in charge of market activities;

To guarantee operational quality, reliable reporting and control of risks related to market activities;

Provide regular reporting to the General Management on market positions, performance, risks and developments.

Profile :

Advanced degree (Bac+5 level) in Finance, Market Finance, Banking, Financial Engineering, Financial Mathematics, Economics or equivalent training;

Minimum 10 years of professional experience, including significant experience in market activities;

Proven experience in managing or supervising a trading floor, trading desk, treasury and markets activity or similar financial activities;

Solid understanding of financial markets: foreign exchange (FX), money markets, interest rates, financial instruments and derivatives;

Good knowledge of cash flow, liquidity, hedging and market risk management issues;

Experience in managing positions, exposures, risk limits and hedging strategies;

Experience in the commodities markets is an asset;

Proven experience in team management and activity leadership;

Strong ability to analyze markets and understand macroeconomic and financial issues;

Excellent understanding of risk management and compliance issues related to market activities;

Leadership, rigor, decision-making ability and strong results orientation;

Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact with the General Management, Risk, Finance and Compliance functions as well as with market counterparties;

Proficiency in French and professional English.
