About Red Sea Global and Botanica
Red Sea Global is seeking a Manager - Landscape Maintenance for Botanica, its subsidiary specializing in sustainable greenery. Botanica integrates new species with local flora across Red Sea Global’s destinations, covering over 1 million square meters. Since 2020, Botanica has cultivated over 5 million plants, with a target of 30 million by 2030, focusing on ecological harmony and sustainable development within The Red Sea & Amaala projects. This is a full-time position for candidates with 5-10 years of experience.
Role Overview
The Manager - Landscape Maintenance will oversee landscape maintenance operations across assigned sites. This role involves ensuring high-quality landscape presentation, plant health, irrigation performance, and operational efficiency. The Manager will also be responsible for HSE compliance and achieving service standards, leading Supervisors and field teams, managing resources, and coordinating with internal stakeholders and clients for effective service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily landscape maintenance operations and develop weekly and monthly maintenance plans.
- Lead and supervise Landscape Maintenance Supervisors, technical teams, gardeners, and the field workforce.
- Oversee all softscape and horticultural activities, including pruning, mowing, planting, fertilization, weeding, mulching, and plant replacement.
- Monitor plant health and landscape quality, implementing corrective actions for pests, diseases, and nutrient deficiencies.
- Oversee irrigation performance, coordinate with irrigation teams, and improve water-use efficiency.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure landscape areas meet quality and service standards.
- Manage manpower planning, workforce deployment, productivity, attendance, and utilization.
- Monitor landscape maintenance KPIs, work orders, service requests, and client observations.
- Manage requirements for plants, fertilizers, chemicals, soil, tools, machinery, and vehicles.
- Coordinate purchase requisitions and material requirements with Procurement and support functions.
- Review and validate operational invoices and supporting documentation.
- Monitor contractor performance and ensure compliance with scope, quality, and safety.
- Ensure effective utilization and maintenance of landscape machinery and equipment.
- Ensure full compliance with HSE requirements, environmental standards, and safe working practices.
- Coordinate with Nursery, Irrigation, HSE, Procurement, Finance, Logistics, Facilities, HR, and other operational teams.
- Maintain communication with clients and stakeholders, addressing operational concerns.
- Prepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
- Monitor operational costs and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
- Support mobilization and operational readiness for new landscape maintenance areas.
- Identify operational risks, manpower gaps, and quality concerns, escalating critical matters to the Senior Manager.
- Coach and develop Supervisors and field teams to strengthen technical capability and team performance.
- Drive continuous improvement in landscape quality, sustainability, and service delivery.
- Ensure all landscape maintenance activities achieve business objectives, client expectations, and contractual requirements.
Qualifications and Experience
- 5-10 years of experience in landscape maintenance management.
- Demonstrated ability to manage landscape operations, teams, and resources effectively.
- Experience in ensuring compliance with HSE and environmental standards.
- Proficiency in developing and implementing maintenance plans and schedules.
Work Environment and Collaboration
This role involves close coordination with various internal departments, including Admin, Legal, Finance, Projects, Procurement, Compensation, IT, Marketing, Audit, and HR, to ensure integrated operational support and effective service delivery across Red Sea Global’s destinations.
