Missions

• Ensure internal accounting control.
• Participate in account certification.

Main activities

• Carry out periodic closing work within the deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with and execution of Group closing desk instructions.
• Identify dysfunctions and propose solutions to remedy them.

• Ensure the proper application of Group accounting control standards.
• Perform accounting controls and provide a reliable result, in order to allow the Second Level Control Manager, Standards and Methods, and the Financial Director to certify the accounts.
• Contribute to strengthening the site's internal accounting control system and ensure the execution of generic control plans.
• Perform check & challenge controls: review of first-line controls (LoD1) and independent controls other than those of LoD1.
• Perform check & challenge of IH and RCSA carried out by operational managers and OPC.
• Manage BEACON and R360 tools, and close the recommendations of the CACs in R360.
• Annually define its LoD2 control plan according to risks, with a review of all GCP Finance; plan approved by the CFO.

• Analyze sub-certifications and account justifications received from account managers.
• Participate in the production of results and presentation materials for accounting health (FORCC, CCI).
• Participate in the implementation of reporting tools for the Group and the financial department.
• Assign general balance accounts within its perimeter to an account manager.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bac+4/5 in accounting, finance, audit or equivalent; experience in internal control, audit or banking accounting appreciated.
• Good knowledge of accounting standards and internal control; BEACON and R360 tools appreciated.
• Rigor, integrity, analytical and synthetic thinking, sense of independence.
• Ability to challenge teams; French, English appreciated; mastery of Excel.
