Role Description The Facilities Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo, responsible for supporting the effective operation, maintenance, and safety of company facilities. This position oversees day-to-day facility management activities, including monitoring building systems, coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and relevant standards. The role includes managing facility-related administration, such as documentation, vendor coordination, and service contracts, while maintaining accurate records and reports. The Facilities Specialist collaborates with construction and project teams during facility startup phases, supports space planning and office layout changes, and assists in implementing facility-related policies and procedures. The role also involves providing training and guidance to internal stakeholders on facility use, safety protocols, and basic maintenance requirements.
Qualifications

• Strong Facility Management (FM) skills, including oversight of building operations, maintenance planning, and facility safety compliance.
• Experience in Administration and use of Microsoft Office for documentation, reporting, scheduling, and data management.
• Exposure to Construction environments and coordination with project teams during facility startup or handover phases.
• Ability to deliver Training and guidance on facility procedures, safety practices, and basic operational standards.
• Relevant technical or engineering diploma/degree in facilities management, civil, mechanical, or similar field is preferred.
• Previous experience in facilities or building operations in engineering, EPC, or industrial settings is an advantage.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management abilities, with attention to detail and follow-through.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
