Technical Engineer, you will be responsible for the technical integrity of architectural finishing projects. Your role involves transforming design intent into precise shop drawings, managing material approvals, and providing technical solutions to site-specific challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Shop Drawings & Detailing: Create and review detailed shop drawings for architectural elements (e.g., wall cladding, false ceilings, flooring patterns, Power & lighting devices, and joinery details).

• Quantity Surveying: Prepare accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and perform quantity take-offs for procurement.

• Technical Coordination: Identify "clashes" between architectural finishes and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) services before they become expensive mistakes on-site.

• Site Support: Provide technical guidance to the site production team to ensure execution matches the approved drawings and quality standards.

• Cost Optimization: Propose "Value Engineering" ideas—suggesting alternative materials or methods that maintain quality while reducing costs.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering.

Experience 3–5 years in architectural finishing or fit-out projects.

Software Proficiencies AutoCAD (Expert), Revit (BIM), and Microsoft Office.

Technical Knowledge

Deep understanding of finishing materials (stone, wood, metals) and installation sequences.

Preferred Skills:

• Problem-Solving: The ability to look at a gap between a wall and a ceiling on-site and design a custom "trim" or "detail" on the fly.

• • Communication: Clearly explaining technical constraints to creative architects and execution constraints to site foremen.
