Job description

• Management and supervision of daily logistics operations.
• Planning and coordinating the movement and delivery of goods and materials.
• Coordinating with suppliers, transport companies, warehouses, and service providers.
• Monitoring delivery schedules and ensuring timely arrival of shipments.
• Tracking transportation costs and logistics services and working on their improvement.
• Supervising warehouse operations and inventory movement in coordination with relevant departments.
• Evaluating the performance of transport companies and logistics service providers and monitoring service levels.
• Negotiating with transport companies and service providers as needed.
• Ensuring the completion of documentation related to shipments, deliveries, and logistics operations.
• Monitoring shipments and addressing delays or delivery issues.
• Developing work procedures to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
• Monitoring key performance indicators and preparing regular reports.
• Ensuring compliance with company policies and safety requirements and relevant regulations.
• Supervising the logistics team, distributing tasks, and monitoring performance.

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience of at least 4 years in logistics, transportation, or supply chain, with supervisory or management experience.
• Good knowledge of transportation, storage, distribution, and delivery operations.
• Experience in managing suppliers, transport companies, and service providers.
• Strong skills in planning, negotiation, and problem-solving.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems or logistics management systems is preferred.
• Fluency in English.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple logistics operations simultaneously.
